I usually don’t use a recipe. We just make our own. We always put spinach and carrots and then apple juice to sweeten instead of sugar. We top it off with whatever fruit we have. Delish! I always freeze a little in popsicle forms and the kids love it that way as well. They think they are getting a treat. Tricky Tricky.
Spinach smoothies are also a staple in our house, O loves them too! Another fav is a vitamix ice cream 2 cups frozen strawberries (or whatever fruit you have or sounds good) 1 cup half & half (or almond milk works too) & 1 tsp vanillia, it calls for a little sugar but I haven’t added it, but maybe you want toadd a little depending on the sweetness of your fruit. Healthy treat I feel good about serving my toddler.
Oops! Use 4 cups of fruit in that ice cream with 1 cup half & half, 1 tsp vanilla (and 1/4 cup sugar or way less or none). I just made half the batch the other day, hence the 2 cups fruit.
