I can’t seem to get enough hugs and squeezes from this chubby boy. Gosh I just love him!

Wonderful Nanna bought Hallie some rain boots and a rain jacket. Here she is living her 2 year old life to the fullest!

My favorite part was when she laid on the ground and started singing a song from the movie “Tangled”. It went something like “the grass, the dirt, just like I dreamed they’d be”  lol She was really into it! I got it on video but need to post it. It is hilarious!!!

Our Church suggests putting one night a week aside for a “family night”.  Every Monday evening we play games and have a lesson about Jesus Christ and His teachings. It’s pretty awesome!

Not quite sure if that’s her shade. 🙂 Oh well it made her feel grown up. Heaven help me when she is a teenager.

(I should probably mention it was first thing in the morning hence the hair and the jammies.)

Can it be true my baby boy is 9 months old!? He is such a charmer! A clingy, stuck on the hip type of charmer, but a charmer none the less. I think the title “mama’s boy” might be an understatement in his case. He still prefers the army crawl to regular crawling although he does know how to. He recently discovered pulling himself up and loves the world that opens up to him.  He now sleeps through the night and he has one tooth on the bottom. We love our little guy and his big smiles.

Hallie has the cutest friend who compliments her so well. Olivia likes to sit down and read books; Hallie likes to jump off the couch. So you see they balance each other out perfectly. We love when Olivia and her mom come to play. Here are the girls doing a science experiment with cornstarch and water.

Right after Kyle was born Hallie potty trained herself. I’m not joking! We took off her diaper, she had two accidents and then figured it out. This continued for a couple weeks. Pee and Poop! She went to Church in panties, but not the store (Kyle was tiny and we didn’t go out yet.) We were amazed and I knew that I lucked out BIG time.

However, fast forward two weeks and Hallie decides “No way!  Kyle wears diapers and everyone pays lots and lots of attention to him…..I’m going to wear diapers too!” From that point on she would throw a huge tantrum when we would refuse to put a diaper on her. She then took it one step further and started peeing everywhere knowing that we would have to put a diaper on her to stop the madness! Well, she won and went back to diapers.

Fast forward 8 months. Two kids in diapers is crazy expensive (and lets be honest I need that money to dye my hair. j/k) We knew she could do it so while I was in New York on my girls trip Ben let her run around naked all day. It was exactly the same as before: two accidents then perfection. Well, lets define perfection: wears panties all the time except for sleeping and stores. (Stores are just too much for me to handle with 2 kids and the germafobe I am.) Oh and she doesn’t poop in the potty yet. She waits until she gets a diaper on for sleep and then goes.

It has been three weeks and she is doing great. Yay for potty training my stubborn little genius. I know it won’t be this easy for any of my other kids.

I have the best Mom and grew up celebrating all the holidays in style! She decorated the whole house, made special food, and bought presents. I was a particular fan of the last. As the kids get older I am so excited to celebrate holidays and have them feel like it is a special day.  St. Patrick’s Day did not disappoint. Here are the pictures to prove it.
